Welcome to our 2016-17 year

Hello Friends,

It was so nice to get back together and to meet our new friends. We have a great year ahead of us. You can join us any time...it is never too late. Register or just join us!

International Bible Study: Tuesdays, 9:00-10:30, room 100
We talked about what the Bible is (the library of God). Which God? (the Creator, Genesis 1). We talked about main message of the Bible (God loves you) that helps you to understand what you are reading when you study the Bible. We looked at how that Bible is organized (the Old ((before Jesus))and New Testaments ((after Jesus)) as well as individual books that are history, prophesy, poetry, biographies, philosophy, and letters). We talked about where to find answers when you don't understand what you are reading (in the other places in the library: in the Bible).

September 6: We are reading the book of Acts. In this book we see how people throughout the world came to know about Jesus and about how God loves all people. This is a very exciting and interesting book full of different cultures and customs.

International Friends: Tuesdays, 10:30-12:00, room 100
We got acquainted with some of our new Friends. We talked of things we would like to do in the upcoming year. Do you have anything special you would like to learn to do? Bring your ideas! Do you have anything you can share? Let us know. Check out our schedule.

September 6: Let's share. Bring something you like or something about yourself to share with everyone. Also, bring a snack to share.
