September we are back in class! Join us beginning the week of September 2, 2025.

Lab School: We follow a "lab school" format. This means that we apply cutting edge and best practices in American English and culture in all of our meetings. Please be aware that YOU are in control of what you learn as an adult. Your success is dependent on you. Thanks to Zoom we are able to offer classes to anyone anywhere. While in-person learning and interaction is often the best, Zoom or other virtual meetings offer a great opportunity to focus on specific details and invite what you are studying in your home or on the go. Be ready to write your own textbook.

Staff: International Friends staff are all volunteers. Their passion is helping people grow and communicate to have a good life in the American community. All staff take classes, study, and apply the best practices in education to speed learning and comfort. We love learning what you need and helping you achieve your specific and individual goals in the best way possible.

Concerns: Please talk to Carolyn Willard (indyintlfriends@gmail.com) with concerns regarding the program. Please talk to your teacher if you have questions about the class.

Materials and Fees: International Friends is grateful to Cornerstone Lutheran Church for providing facility, childcare, and financial support over the years. CLC financial support is covering this year’s program costs. Students are responsible for purchasing textbooks or other materials or amenities as required.

Children: Children are welcome at our meetings. Your little ones are welcome to sit in with you as you study.

We welcome volunteers and student teachers. Contact Carolyn to get involved.
