Parents with Children

Join us for our Parents with Children meetings with your children and learn classic American stories, rhymes and traditions and share the experience with your little ones.

We have children sessions 9:00-10:10 or 10:15-11:30. Your child can play and sing with us and you can join us for one of the 20 minute Parents with Children classes at the beginning or ending each session (9:00-9:20, 9:50-10:10, 10:15-10:35 or 11:10-11:30). Either begin with your day with us or begin in the CLC nursery then trade during the break.

The habit to a bright future
If your child reads at home for just 20 minutes a day, they'll see 1.8 million words per year and will likely score in the 90th percentile in standardized tests. Reading matters!

American Culture: Frosty the Snowman
Watch the classic cartoon clip and sing along. More about this
Frosty the Snowman is an American winter icon. He started out as a song that was first recorded by Gene Autry and The Cass Country Boys in 1950. The song quickly became a season hit and in 1969 CBS created a 25-minute animated film based off of the song. Frosty the snowman has remained popular through the decades and is seen as an icon of the season.
