I am here getting ready for our meetings...I am listening to the next round of thunder moving in. If anything makes news here in Indiana, it is the weather!
The church where we meet has changed it's name to Cornerstone Lutheran Church. Everything else is the same, Why the change? The church has several meeting sites in the Indianapolis area including a new building in Fishers. The name Carmel Lutheran Church just didn't fit in the new locations.

Join us as we read the Bible in our home languages and discuss in English. You don't have to be Christian to attend.
International Friends meets at 10:30
Join us for fun, food, field trips and friendship. We will get to know each other, catch up with each other, and plan our schedule.
Registration and screening for our classes is Thursday, September 1
Come to be screened for your class, register and pay for your classes. We accept checks or cash. Please make your checks out to CLC.

An Exciting Day Here in Indiana

I hope that you had a great week. Classes started this week at Carmel Clay Schools and are already rolling in the other schools in our community. Don't forget about our International friends meetings and classes and opportunities.
Saturday, August 13: International Church Services, 6:15 pm in the Haase Chapel
Join me this Saturday at International Church Services. We will worship in English. There will be time for questions and to talk about words or ideas you may not be familiar with. You don't have to be Christian to come. Childcare is available.
Saturday, August 20: Chinese Brush Painting, 2:30-4:30, upstairs classrooms
Join us as we paint using pen and ink. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this meeting. Look for Yuki, Gonz and Frances.
Thursday, August 25: English Staff Meeting, 9:30-12:00, upstairs classroom.
Staff, it is time to meet and get ready for our upcoming school year. Please let me know if you will be coming on Thursday.
